LAN Systems flogs new BorderWare products

BorderWare Technologies has expanded its partnership with distributors LAN system with the launch of new products.

LAN Systems will leverage the recently launched BorderWare Security Platform including Mail, IM and VoIP security and incorporating the BorderWare Security Network.

The BorderWare Security Platform is a content security platform designed to provide a single policy to protect both inbound and outbound traffic for all communications protocols.

A cornerstone of this platform is the BorderWare Security Network (BSN), the first service to analyse the reputation and behaviour of IP addresses across all communications protocols, including SMTP, HTTP, IM, FTP and VoIP.

Driven by the convergence of threats encompassing all communications protocols, including email, instant messaging, web, and VoIP content, customers can no longer rely on conventional point products and reactive threat prevention services to secure their converging networks as well as ensuring corporate and regulatory compliance and meeting personal data privacy requirements.

Tony Heywood, Comstor business manager of LAN Systems, said the distributor believes that Email and VoIP security has been largely overlooked and that BorderWare has taken the high ground in this market.

“The business environment in Australia and New Zealand becoming increasingly competitive, the need for a thought leadership approach in converged network security has never been more important,” he said.

LAN Systems expect BorderWare instantly adding significant value for our channel partners in order to match increasing customer demands, said Heywood.
