SC Forum: Be a part of the future

With more workshops and an international line-up of speakers, the SC Forum is bigger and better than ever. So make sure you join us.

The SC Forum has established itself as an unrivalled event in the UK information security calendar. This unique occasion blends thought leadership, superb networking opportunities and the chance for bespoke conversations with leading IT security vendors.

This year we have made the forum bigger and better than ever. With internationally known speakers from the IT industry and more workshops; the emphasis will be on why infosecurity has become a key business driver.

We have lined up some of the biggest names in the information security business. Phil Dunkelberger, chief executive of PGP, and Sreekanth Ravi, president of Code Green Networks, will bring a slice of Silicon Valley innovation to the tranquil environs of the Oxfordshire countryside.

Other speakers include Tim Pickard area vice-president of international marketing at RSA, the security division of EMC, who will be giving an overview of the threats facing the financial sector, in a year when attacks on banking customers are expected to rocket.

Ken Munro, managing director of SecureTest, will give a technical workshop on finding and combating vulnerabilities in application layers, while Gerhard Eschelbeck, the chief technology officer of anti-spyware firm Webroot will reveal the latest tactics being used by online criminals.

Five more leading experts will complete the line up of exclusive workshops focusing on government legislation, risk management and computer forensics.

On top of these sessions designed to furnish delegates with the latest intelligence and techniques, there is the opportunity to meet one-to-one with leading suppliers in the forum exhibition area. Unlike the hubbub of the big shows, these meetings are pre-arranged and relaxed, enabling delegates to find out about products and how they may work in their own IT environments.

Over three days, information security professionals will be able to take part in all the workshops, meet suppliers and network at the Oxford Belfry hotel.

Part of the Marston Hotels group, The Oxford Belfry is set in 15 acres and has excellent leisure facilities, including a pool, spa and fitness centre, available to delegates during their stay.

The SC Forum is designed to work for you, so we tailor it to your needs. That is why you are able to choose which workshops you attend, which suppliers you would like to meet, and which areas you want to discuss with them.

In the information security world, there is nothing quite like the SC Forum. Join us next month and find out why.
