Microsoft launches RSA Conference 2008 site

Microsoft’s dedicated RSA 2008 site and blog – a portal for Microsoft experts to share their opinions on emerging topics during next week’s conference in San Francisco - is now live, the vendor announced today.

According to the Microsoft blogger Jeff Jones who made the announcement, Microsoft will be active at the conference with a keynote speech by its chief research and strategy officer Craig Mundie as well as partipating in 12 track sessions that involve Microsoft people.

“This Microsoft RSA 2008 information page [will] be featuring not just my content, but the RSA-related content from other Microsoft security people and partners,” said Jones.

“I will be attending RSA and am planning to be very active in providing updates and information from the show itself, publishing to this site as well as my own blog at http://blogs.technet.com/security,” wrote Jones.

Jones added that user content is also a vital component of the site and said anybody can give input through the site.

The content he plans to publish includes commentary on selected keynotes and spotlight on new security technology and companies, he explained.

Other keynote speeches during the conference include environmental activist
Al Gore.
