The global information security resource guide from (ISC)² is now available online. The ‘Resource Guide for Today's Information Security Professional, Global Edition' was originally published in 2006 and is now online for the first time. All versions are freely available to (ISC)² members, as well as the general public. A printed version of the guide will continue to be distributed as a pocket-sized, spiral bound book at the beginning of each year. John Colley, CISSP, EMEA managing director of (ISC)², said: “The (ISC)² Resource Guide is considered by many information security professionals and managers around the world as the ‘go to' source for educational and networking information, especially important in these economically difficult times. The online format will only enhance its value to those in the information security field who want to quickly reference valuable resources. “Information security professionals require tools and resources that are current and easily accessible. In our mission to help develop these individuals from all around the world, we are proud to offer online access to the Resource Guide and will continue to seek ways of enhancing and expanding its offerings of professional resources to our members and other professionals around the world.” See original article on scmagazineus.com
