Symantec has identified 20 subject lines from spam emails intending to capitalise on this weekend's Valentine's Day.

In a company blog post which described it as "more like a laundry list of solutions for a cast of depressed porn stars than an array of truly romantic gifts", it was missives from the 'male enhancement spam crowd' which have been most flooding inboxes in the lead-up to the holiday, with messages such as 'Increase your length, the best valentine's gift'.

Fake gift card and replica watch-related spam have also been prolific, whilst the company has also reported an increase in spam containing the words 'Feb 14', February 14' and 'Cupid'.

Panda Security warned email users late last month of an email worm being delivered under the guise of Valentine's Day greetings.
