Symantec has added a partner encryption specialisation to its channel program.
Partners with expertise in encryption could achieve the certification by completing a sales and technical accreditation course.
Symantec's encryption products included the recently acquired PGP Encryption, and Symantec Endpoint Encryption.
The company said partners that achieved an encryption specialisation would receive a specialist partner logo and designation as an encryption solutions specialist partner in Symantec's partner locator.
Symantec has previously created archiving and eDiscovery, endpoint management, small and medium business and data loss prevention specialisations.
It also recently added “master specialisations” to its partner program refresh that comes into effect in April.
