Dutch secret service ticks IronKey

USB storage approved.

The Dutch General Intelligence and Security Service (AIVD) has approved the IronKey USB storage device for securing mobile data.

Certified as the benchmark for mobile data security, it is the responsibility of AIVD to evaluate security products which it feels offers the highest standard of data protection to government departments.

Colin Woodland, IronKey vice president of EMEA, said: “With this AIVD certification, IronKey is the de facto standard USB device for government departments and businesses looking to secure valuable data.

“We believe the example being set by AIVD in helping to educate organisations on the best ways to keep mobile data secure is one that other countries across Europe should follow.”
