M86 Security has launched the next version of its web filtering and reporting technology to include new monitoring and control functions.
According to the company, version 4.2 of its web filtering and reporting suite now includes additional user identification and activity monitoring for all tablet devices, reporting improvements and customisable time limits for user access.
With capabilities offered for Android and iOS operating systems, it allows IT administrators to ensure that their web filtering solutions authenticate, monitor and report internet activities of all on-premises devices down to the user level, including personally owned devices.
“We implemented the latest enhancements to the suite to help schools and districts leverage the latest mobile technologies,” Werner Thalmeier, vice-president of product management at M86 Security, said.
