#BlackHat Video: How four million hotel locks failed

Cody Brocious talks about the widespread lock vulnerability.

Researcher Cody Brocious discusses how he discovered a vulnerability in more than four million hotel room locks that could enable someone to easily gain entry.

He touches on how the flaw works, why he decided not to notify the affected manufacturer and why he thinks he isn't the only one who knows about the weakness.

Brocious officially went public with the vulnerability on Tuesday night at the Black Hat conference in Las Vegas.
