EDITOR'S NOTE

A bug in iOS 5 was found in which stolen or lost iPhones continue to receive iMessages sent by and delivered to victims who used iMessages on a replacement device. Apple isn't talking, but it appears the phone number and Apple ID used to register iMessages remains tied to iPhones, even after firmware restores.

And a security fault has also been found in HTC phones. A vulnerability in nine phones enabled SSIDs and passwords to be sent to remote servers.
