EDITOR'S NOTE

An unconfirmed cache of 21,485 clear text email addresses and passwords belonging to customers of Aussie outfit Billabong have been dumped on the net.

That follows news late yesterday that Yahoo! Voices was popped with 450,000 now confirmed clear text user credentials exposed -- of which only 5 percent had valid passwords.

Social media site Formspring kicked off this week's data breach mayhem but was the only one to have encrypted and salted its records. It's now moving to Bcrypt.

Enjoy your weekend.
